Signing up for membership? Simply add a donation to your membership cheque or credit card
amount. Donations are welcome (and needed!) any time.
Contribute once or in regular monthly amounts. A donation of $50 may cost you only $12.50
and $400 only $100, since donations are eligible for tax credit (see the table to the right).
Donations “in kind” are welcome too.

Volunteer, or Donate Materials
Winning more votes requires a team, and we have plenty of positions on the team yet to fill. Contact
Huguette or Shelley and tell us what role you'd like to play.
Typically need warm bodies to perform the following functions:
- Phoning to announce events
- Door-to-door Canvassing
- Organizing Events
- Assisting at Events
- Media Relations

Who can Contribute? |
By law we can only accept a contribution from an individual who is either a Canadian
citizen or a permanent resident.
Every Canadian citizen or permanent resident can donate up to $1,100 to each political
party every year and an additional $1,100 to each party's campaign or association.
No donations are permitted from businesses or corporations. Thus your contribution must
be made only with your own personal credit card or from your personal bank account, and not
from a business credit card or account.
As a member, you must abide by the constitution and principles of the Green Party
of Canada, and not be a member of another federal political party.
