Copenhagen is coming up in December 09 and so far the Harper government seems intent on doing nothing. October 24 is climate action day throughout Canada where all who care about addressing climate change will pose actions that push government in the right direction.
Here is what we’ve planned for the Okanagan Shuswap:
1) Friday October 23rd, join us for the viewing of AGE OF STUPID, we’ve brought it in because it’s a film that will not hit theaters until after Copenhagen and we feel it must be seen now. Join us at the Salmar Theatre for a 7:30 viewing, preceded by music offered by the wonderful guitarist Manfred Harter (see http://www.manfredharter.com)
2) We’ve been getting people to sign up a letter asking our MP Colin Mayes what he’s doing to get us back to 350 ppm, the only safe number according to the IPCC, and plan on having an event in Vernon on Saturday, Oct 24. Details to come soon.

Hi,
wondering if there is any update on a 350 event here in Vernon?
